Proposed City of Stockbridge Annexation Referendum
The City of Stockbridge is seeking to better define its boundaries to reduce confusion and improve services. A proposed annexation in the city of Stockbridge would increase the city’s population to about 52,000 residents. Presently, the city has just shy of 29,000 residents based on the 2020 census. The proposal also adds districts for the city council members. Right now, Stockbridge residents elect each council member at-large. Senator Emanuel Jones introduced senate bill 61


A RESOLUTION- Recognizing and commending Elton Alexander
I was jubilated to be recognized in my district of the city of Stockbridge but, in a surprising move, I flipped the script on councilman Elton Alexander and bestowed upon him a resolution for his most stupendous works throughout his community from the body of the Georgia General Assembly on behalf of the entire state of Georgia. Georgia Raw Dairy Act
Many of you may be glad to know that soon, you'll be able to buy RAW MILK (House Bill 1175- cited as the "Georgia Raw Dairy Act." ) if you go to a farm and purchase it as you will not be able to purchase it in the store. And no I don't mean organic, pasteurized, or homogenized just plain old-fashioned fresh raw milk. It took almost 3 hours to debate that this week. So please that the Georgia House of Reps. have adopted my 'RESOLUTION' honoring and declaring January 28, 2022, as John Evans Day in the state of Georgia. I have finally received the "PRETTY COPY" and will deliver it to him this week as we can no longer have awardees or visitors in chamber because of the COVID crisis.
