Representative Angela Moore partners with Princess and a Pad to bring a much-needed period poverty program for young women to Stonecrest and Rockdale counties, respectively.

Period poverty and lack of access to sanitary products can be a substantial barrier to achieving young women’s success, so we are working together to eliminate it in House District 91.

Princess and a Pad is a certified 501(c) 3 organization that is committed to providing menstrual kits, school supplies, mentorship, and education to our young ladies and believes that by empowering these young women with the tools they need to succeed, they can help break the cycle of poverty and ensure that every girl has a fair shot at graduating and achieving her dreams, unincumbered.
